Canote Films was started in 2005. Cinematographer, Christopher Canote, has been passionate about filmmaking ever since he was a child. At the age of 9 he was already making movies with his VHS camcorder.



In 2007 Chris Canote got his first taste of fame when a video of his went viral. One of his videos was featured on the Home Page of Myspace.com. The video titled "Alone with creepy baby" got over 1 MILLION views in less than 24 hours.



Chris was then really introduced into the social media world. Chris got a call from a  production company in Burbank California interested in his works for an upcoming television show, Whacked Out Videos on Channel G4.



From there, Chris has had many successes in the video world including winning multiple film festival awards, and even working with Celebrities from American Idol. Chris' comedy spoofs have been seen by thousands on YoutTube, and a lot of his classics are starring Chris himself. But most of them star Chris' older brother Justin Canote, the funniest of the Canote boys. Justin Canote is an award winning comedian/actor who is in just about all of Chris' films. One of Justin's most memorable characters is Mike Jones, The Sexiest Man Alive!
